Just finished it.

I know there was mix reviews about it and well there has been tons of “end of the world” movies, but truth to be told I really like this movie. Sure there were some parts that were a little unbelievable, but overall I thought that it told a great story about humanity and how we should treat one and another.

Just Drift Toys for Tots event Saturday

Went up to Willow Springs for the JD Toys for Tots drift event to help out and instruct. Besides the freezing cold weather it was fun. Lots of drivers about 25 of them, mostly beginners/intermediates. Was glad that I brought my puffy jacket/eskimo jacket. Still that help a bit. Didn’t take many pictures but here are some

Went on a ride along with Matt Powers aka Mattycakes while he was tademing with Micki and I just have to say that Matt’s driving is borderline crazy and just rad. Dude was on Micki’s door and on transitions I swore we were going to hit him from behind. On the last corner Micki spun and Matt gently bumped into the driver door. Micki’s shit was too fucked up but Matt ended busting up both of his headlights and I quote from Matt “I’m starting the season same as last time with no headlights.” lol

And Ash went a little overboard with his drifting and got himself stuck in the ditch. Funny part about that is that his passenger is the daughter of one of the CHP officers who were nice enough to bring their patrol cars out. She seemed a bit shaken up when I walked up to check on them. The CHP officers were really nice and really chilled.

Also Ash’s car was sick. Swapped a F20C motor from a Honda S2K into it and the thing moves and drives well. Can’t say the same for the driver though. LOL just kidding Ash.
