Yeah I remember during one of my visits back home during my military times and my mom telling me that they had to put our family dog Baby down when I looked for her in the backyard.
Then I thought back to all the times we had when we were kids with her as as we grew older we spend less time with her. At the end all of us were gone from the house and she passed away.
Wish I had spent more time with her.

He put him down because he was getting older and having a lot of health problems. Really sad when you have dogs like us and their a part of you like someone who hold a dear part of your heart.
He put him down because the dog is harder to take care of when it get older. That was the main reason perhaps. Putting him down = escaping from problems especially when the dog is still fighting for it.
I myself have a 15-16 years old dog. I understand the dog will have tremendous amount of health problems when it get to this age, perhaps… the health problems can almost coming non-stop. It is the matter whether the owner have the heart to take care of it and not just killing it with just an injection.
My dog was also suffocating with a lot of health problems when she was age of 15-16. Starting not able to walk such we have to hold her up for her to stand. But we still never put her down “as shown in this video” because we see the spirit of the dog. This is just part of the health problems as there are more than this.
Actually I am kind of dislike this video because I see the dog is still quite active and able to walk quite pretty well. Why does he has to give up the dog when the dog hasn’t giving up?? Sigh~~
Anyway, this is just my personal point of view. Quite disappointed with his action.
